Goodtime Games is a Board Games Café, which is a place where you can book a table for a few hours relax with some friends, and play any number of new and exciting games! If you’re new to board games and aren’t sure where to begin, our resident experts are on-hand to help get you started with some recommendations, and even teach you how to play!

We’ve designed the café to be the perfect spot for a lunchtime escape, after-work drinks, an evening of entertainment, or just a place to enjoy some downtime with friends and family. Whether you’re a complete beginner, casual player or a seasoned strategist; we’ll have something for you from our extensive collection. There really are games for all occasions, settings and groups- no matter their composition! Be it first dates, family get-togethers or students meeting ahead of a night out, we’ve got you covered!

We’re a small, independent operation that values its staff and seeks to offer a unique, comfortable space for both visitors, and the wider board-gaming community. Our pricing structure is designed to be affordable to regular visitiors while rewarding our full and part-time staff with the real living wage and 100% of all tips.

We are proud of our new low-waste, vegan and vegetarian menu, and we’re actively developing it to minimise cruelty to animals and damage to the environment. While we still have a long way to go; we are taking steps to reduce our own impact as far as possible. We believe it is especially important that businesses (not just individuals) take steps to reduce their waste output.
